Divine Inspiration Collection
The "Divine Inspiration" collection of my most recent paintings (2014) goes beyond my comfort zone into an intense connection with source. With most of the collection, I started with an inspiring photograph as my muse and then took a journey with brush in hand and spirit in my heart. See slide show. Also check out my video at the gallery.

This painting began with an image of fascia – the connective tissue that links the muscle to bone to soul.
I found myself in a dance with a life-force very new to me. I was taken, energetically and spiritually, on a journey of rising spirit and color. Delving into the darks and lights; into the fire and the unknown.

This piece was inspired by a Robin Spiegel photo that captured an ecstatic state of being. It reaches toward the sky to connect to the cosmic spirit of being alive.

This work grew from an experience of a magnificent sunset on the beach. Suddenly I was transported to a place I had never been. The vortex of color and light takes me to a place of spacious peacefulness.

Painting inspired by photo from Peggy Kulbe. It took many incarnations as I learned about the spider and its web. The painting symbolizes how each day we weave the web of our lives, which is connected to and relies on, the beauty surrounding us.

Painting inspired by a magnificent black and white photo by Karen Shulman of Martha's Vineyard. I asked myself continually. "How can I transform this magical image into color?" What resulted was a powerful vision beyond our world.
