About Greer Jonas
Artist Statement
I am a painter, sculptor, and teacher living in New York City. My paintings vary between abstracts and landscapes using acrylic or oil paints and mixed media. Personal inspirational paintings are created on commission. I have appeared in a variety of galleries, exhibitions, and private collections.
The Adventure Begins
One day while traveling in Italy with my friends, we stopped off in Assisi. I fell in love with the land, the art, and the wonderful people. I did not want to leave.
Backyard in Assisi
The universe was one step ahead of me. Around 6 months later, I received an invitation in my mailbox. A month-long painting workshop in -- you guessed it... Assisi!

Each day we traveled to a different setting and painted. I was hooked.
